Logistics issues at the Doha Port venue have prompted a schedule change for the Men’s and Women’s 5km open water swimming competitions at the World Aquatics Championships – Doha 2024.
The Men's and Women's 5km Open Water Swimming Events have been rescheduled for February 7, 2024, from February 6, 2024. The men's 5km race is scheduled to begin at 13:00 (10:00 UTC), while the women's 5km competition is scheduled to begin at 10:30 local time (UTC 7:30).
The schedule for the Women's 10km (3 February), Men's 10km (4 February) and mixed 4x1500m Relay (8 February) events is scheduled to remain unchanged.
