Uganda hosted the inaugural zone 3 masters championships in Kampala on August11th 2018 at GEMS Cambridge International School. Ten clubs/teams and over 80 swimmers took part including a team from Tanzania. The event was successful with several zone records set across the various age groups. It is envisaged that this will become a regular fixture on the zone calendar. We anticipate having zonal master’s events in Tanzania and Uganda in 2019.
Zone 3 teams from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda participated in the CANA Zone 4 championships in February that were held in Malawi. Zone 3 continues to enjoy excellent collaborative links with zone 4.
