Diop Shines For Senegal
Senegal's Oumy Diop recorded a time of 1:01.82 in the 100-meter butterfly at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Saturday,
marking the best finish ever for a Senegalese female swimmer in this event at the Summer Games.

Following FINA's name change to World Aquatics, C.A.N.A. has also decided to rebrand to Africa Aquatics, to stay in alignment with the changes happening at a global level.
After months of discussions, the executives of the Confederation Africaine de Natation (C.A.N.A) has decided to use this opportunity to refresh the brand and also to maintain alignment with the global body, World Aquatics.
